As we expand into [Insert City/Location], we’re seeking a versatile, certified instructor who can teach both Yoga and Mat Pilates —playing a key role in our presale and grand opening launch .

Position Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic, multi-skilled instructor to deliver safe, engaging, and results-driven Yoga and Mat Pilates classes as part of our Group X programming. Your sessions will focus on core strength, posture, flexibility, mobility, and overall balance—supporting both recovery and performance for our members.

Presale Position Responsibilities

During the presale period (before our studio officially opens), this role will include:

• Leading free community workouts, pop-up classes, and brand-awareness events.
  
  
• Supporting sales efforts by introducing potential members to Carbon’s training philosophy and benefits.
  
  
• Building relationships with local businesses and community organizations to generate leads.
  
  
• Assisting in gathering class feedback during trial sessions to refine programming.
  
  
• Creating excitement and engagement around the grand opening.
  
  

Key Instructor Responsibilities

• Lead well-structured, high-quality Yoga and Mat Pilates classes for all fitness levels.
  
  
• Create creative, purposeful flows and sequences that align with Carbon’s holistic training philosophy.
  
  
• Provide clear cueing, motivation, and individualized modifications to ensure safety and success.
  
  
• Incorporate breathwork, posture alignment, and controlled movement into every class.
  
  
• Maintain a welcoming and inclusive class environment that fosters member connection.
  
  
• Keep the studio clean, organized, and ready for the next session.
  
  
• Collaborate with the Group X team to evolve programming and class offerings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT-200 or higher preferred) and Certified Mat Pilates Instructor (Mat preferred).
  
  
• CPR/AED certified (or ability to obtain).
  
  
• 1+ year of group instruction experience in both modalities.
  
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to adapt instruction for varied fitness levels and special considerations.
  
  
• Passion for mindful movement and creating transformative member experiences.
